Transforming Singapore into a Green Finance Governance Hub

As a leading Global Financial Centre, Singapore can contribute to global efforts at tackling climate change by channelling much-needed capital towards the development of sustainable technologies and climate change solutions. In order to do so, Singapore will need to develop its green finance sector and become a conduit for green capital. Taking a policy design perspective, we will discuss the policy and regulatory drivers of Singapore's ongoing transformation into a Green Finance Hub. We will also highlight some of the challenges that Singapore faces and discuss possible ways in which these can be addressed.
